Gas-tight doors for optimal fruit preservation
The method of fruit preservation is a crucial part of the food industry, as it helps to ensure the availability of fresh fruit throughout the year. Several technologies have been developed for long-term fruit storage, two of them being Controlled Atmosphere (CA) and Ultra Low Oxygen (ULO) storage. These preservation methods require specific gas-tight doors to maintain the desired atmosphere in the cold stores.
