With this technical news we keep you up to date with the latest technical developments regarding our commercial-, (gas-tight) refrigeration and freezer doors.
In order to meet the demand for a gas-tight door with a higher insulation value, the first 150 mm thick doors are currently being produced. The R-value of the new KHG-1815 (V) will be around 5.5 (m² K / W). The radius is also enlarged so that the sealing rubber forms better in the bottom corners. At this moment the door is only available completely assembled, mid 2019 also as a kit. The 100 mm thick gas-tight door KHG-0810 (V) will also remain available.
As of today our vertical gas-tight, refrigeraton and freezer doors are fitted with a turning wheel at the top. Because the suspension has been moved from the bottom to the top of the door, the door is now lifted from the top instead of from the bottom. As a result, the cable runs along the top and no longer between the blade and the side guide, which increases the safety of the doors. The slack cable protection is also moved upwards so that it is better protected against moisture and dirt from the floor. With gas-tight doors, the clamps are now freely accessible in the new version. The maximum height of the joining beam has been lowered by the adjustment to 2x clear height - 1325 mm. The low position is unchanged.
Recently, our vertical gas-tight, refrigeration and freezer doors were supplied with adjustable side guide roll holders made of stainless steel 304. This means that the doors can be accurately adjusted to the wall.
At the international refrigeration trade fair Chillventa, which will be held from 16 to 18 October 2018 in Nürnberg, Salco will introduce a new line of hinged doors that will be on display for the first time during the trade show. We will gladly tell you all about it at our stand 9-625!
